SUMMER CAMP 2019 (Registration opens Feb 16, 2019)

Welcome to Ifleed summer camp 2019!

We are excited to offer a variety of 3 day weekly camps in Wausau from June 11th  – Aug 22nd, 2019. Our camps are designed to enhance creativity and critical thinking skills with fun for children of ages 4-14.

Ifleed offers hands on camps with engaging STEAM curriculum's to teach difficult concepts in a fun and safe environment with their peers.

Summer is a time to relax, rejuvenate and continue the learning process with loads of fun and excitement. At Ifleed, we encourage children to learn from their peers, provide an environment where its acceptable to make mistakes and learn and most importantly, learn to enjoy the process of learning.

We are offering some exciting topics this summer. Our camps are offered 3 days (Tuesday – Thursday) on the weeks stated below. Camps are either 9am – 12pm or 1-4 pm. Our classes are limited to 12 students per camp.

Registration includes all supplies, camp t-shirt, a snack and drink.

2.   Once you register and pay your deposit, you will receive a confirmation email with receipt of registration.


 Our summer camp pricing is $179 per week. We offer a discount of 10% for students who sign up for more than 1 week of camp. Siblings who enroll together in our camps will receive a 10% discount. Just a note that discounts cannot be combined (Max 10% discount).

A $50 deposit will be required to hold your class when you register. The rest of the amount will be billed in May and June 2019. Two installment plans are offered as part of the payment plan. Deposits are non-refundable.

Camp description

Simple Machines

This machine camp calls for small moving machine enthusiast who will learn about DC motors, current, voltage and how to make machines move. Kids will become machine experts and will be able to use their knowledge to build small machines on their own at home. They will use their art skills to make an ART and BRUSH BOT. They will also make a spider car on their last day.

Variation of difficulty will be based upon the age group kids sign up with.


I believe I can fly: airplanes and drones

Children are always excited about anything that flies, and this camp will answer the questions that they have. There are so many airplanes and drones out there. What makes them fly? What makes them similar? What makes them faster or slower? And what are the differences between say a Boeing and an Airbus or a 747?

They will learn why wings and engines make the difference and build a model airplane that will fly . With their new knowledge, they will apply their skill and look at why helicopters and airplanes are similar yet so different.

A drone will be the icing on the cake at the end of this exciting camp. All flight dreamers, future pilots are welcome to this camp.

 Geometry and Architecture in the cities

Have you been to Chicago? Europe? India? China? Egypt? South America? Have you wondered the marvels of buildings and their architecture and what they were thinking as they created the structures? Why does a building collapse and why some never collapse and can take the extreme weather conditions?

Kids are creators and they will learn about area, surface area , volume, constructions and use Lego and other wood materials to create their prototype. By the end of the camp, they will build they own structure of a futuristic architecture they have been dreaming about.

All building enthusiast and LEGO followers are encouraged to attend this camp.

Forensic science: CSI style

Have you watched CSI and Forensic files? The blood, DNA, genetics, clues, trails, fingerprints etc are so crucial to the investigation of crime.

Will you like to solve your own crime scene? Then come join us for this CSI style forensic science journey as we take you through the fingerprinting process, the DNA and genetics and to use them to identify a specific person, walking around crime scenes to collect evidence and how to bag them, tag them and bring them to the “lab” and use the help of tools and scientific techniques to bring justice for the victims and their families.

These camps are designed for our younger learners from preschool to 2nd grade.

Medical school

Many dream of becoming doctors or joining the medical field but are turned away by the blood and journey to medical school.

In this camp, we will excite you about your dream by allowing you to understand the anatomy of the body and making your own lungs and see how they work. You will learn about white and red blood cells and use experiments to understand how cells work.

You will learn about the brain and its important functions, becoming a doctor for a day and diagnosing patients, write prescriptions and create a follow up plan for your patients.

At the end of your journey with our camp, we hope to inspire you to follow your dream in the medical field.

This camp is geared towards our older kiddos from grades 3-8.
